We’re not quite sure how to put this without sounding like we may have a slight problem. But fact is, we love our bubbly! Girls nights are a weekly ritual of ours and obviously yummy drinks and light bites are a must. We think regular get-togethers with your best friends are a great way of ensuring you stay tuned in to each others lives and with a few drinks the talk and gossip will last all night, guaranteed. While a chilled bottle of white vino, mini pizzas and a bit of fresh fruit to munch on would keep us happy all night, we also love experimenting with new recipes. And since we’re not good at keeping secrets, we thought a weekly “Bubbly Friday” category would be a fun
way of sharing a few of our recipes with you.
The key to “Bubbly Friday” is that all of our drinks are easy to make without the usual mess in the kitchen, they don’t take more than 10 minutes of preparation and require no fancy ingredients on the shopping list. Our first runner up this week is the “Rose-Blueberry-Sparkler, with a hint of elderflower”. It looks and sounds fancy, while taking all of 3 minutes to prepare. Too good to be true? Nope! But see for yourself.
What you’ll need:
– chilled prosecco (or champagne for those that like it extra fancy)
– elderflower syrup
– blueberry ice cubes
– dried rose petals
– extra fine baking sugar
– a slice of lemon
Prepare the blueberry ice cubes the night before you plan on making your “Rose-Blueberry-Sparkler” by simply filling an ice cube tray with water, dropping a blueberry in each cube and letting it freeze over night. A little tip: To make the ice cubes turn out clear (unlike ours) boil the water before filling it into the ice cube tray.
These drinks can be served in any glass of your choice, however we recommend using tumblers, as those work the best for the sugared rim. On a small plate, mix the sugar with some crushed dried rose petals. Then moisten the rim of your glasses with the slice of lemon and dip into the sugar/rose mixture, carefully turning the glass back and forth a bit.
Once the rims of your glasses are prepared, add about one tablespoon of elderflower syrup to every glass, drop in a few fresh blueberries, rose petals and the prepared ice cubes. Then fill the glasses about half way with prosecco and enjoy with your girls!

Love the idea of Bubbly Friday <3 It's such a good way to start the weekend – with your besties, chilled drinks and something to snack on while chatting away into the night.
Congratulations to your new blog, ladies! It looks pretty darn…pretty :)

Ich hab schon das halbe Internet durchsucht und finde das nirgends….
