Editors’ Pick: Biker Boots

The leaves have turned beautiful shades of red and orange, we’re enjoying pumpkin spiced lattes on a daily basis and we can’t get enough of warm sweaters – in other words: fall is in full force! In our last editors’ pick we shared our love for parkas, combined with a touch of leopard, and today it’s all about the biker boots. Whether you plan on going for the “cool chick” look with a leather jacket, or a more polished version with a silky blouse and glitzy necklace, a pair of biker boots is definitely worth the investment!

Kathi’s Look:
For a casual but cool weekend or daytime look, we love our biker boots with a pair of waxed skinny jeans, a blouse or knit sweater and a bit of leather, ie. a nice biker jacket or oversized bag. Try to keep the jewelry to a minimum and rather masculine (a big silver watch works great). If you want to add a slight girly touch to the “cool biker chick” look, work with a scarf or more playful hair style.

Vicky’s Look:
Although biker boots are definitely not evening attire, there are some ways of dressing them up a bit for a more elegant and feminine look. An easy trick is to stick to black & white – the color combination instantly makes a sophisticated impression. Then, add high quality materials (ie. a silky blouse or fluffy vest) and jewelry, like a glitzy necklace.
