We always try to encourage you all to send us a little input for The Daily Dose – be it party ideas, your job descriptions, scrumptious recipes or yummy drinks. And when we received this cocktail suggestion from Sarah a few weeks ago, we instantly knew that we had to share it with you guys. The Ginger Spritz, as we like to call it know, is another perfect drink for fall (along with our Cinnamon Toast of course) – green tea and the warming ginger root should ring some bells right now. That’s correct, this cocktail is made on a green tea basis! Add fresh ginger and champagne and there you have your favorite new drink this season! Thanks so much Sarah for the great idea!
Here is what you’ll need:
– Green Tea
– Ginger Ale
Brew some green tea and let it cool down for a bit. Slice the lemons and the ginger root and add them to the tea – allow some time to infuse. When it’s cold enough, pour ginger ale and champagne into your glass and serve immediately. You can also try this recipe with other tea flavors, a strong Earl Grey should taste heavenly as well in this combination.
