On Tuesday, Kathi shared some of her Christmas wishes, and today it is my turn. As I get older, I find it harder to actually put together a wishlist – I am not sure if it is because my wishes are getting fewer but bigger (things I only dare to dream about, but not really wish for – hello Givenchy Antigona) or because I now have an income and am able to buy a lot more for myself. Probably a mix of the two… But of course – just like almost every other girl – I always have a few things on my list that would make me super happy underneath the Christmas tree. Here is my wishlist for this year:
13″ Macbook Pro with retina display
This is my biggest (and actually necessary) wish this year, which is definitely #1 on the list. I’ve had my old Macbook for over 4 years now, and even though it still “works”, it has gotten to be so slow that I spend more time waiting for things to load than actually working. I’d LOVE to kick off the new year with a speedy new laptop!
Moschino bunny iPhone cover
I don’t think this really needs any explaining. Cutest. Thing. EVER!!
Nike Free 5.0+ Shield
I’ve been meaning to get a new pair of running shoes since the summer, but for some reason I never got around to it. I think the Nike Free 5.0+ Shield runs in black with a touch of leopard will be my next pair and I would love for Santa to bring them.
“Oh, Lola!” perfum by Marc Jacobs
This scent has been my favorite for years now, and every Christmas I wish for a new bottle. It has almost already become a little tradition and this year it is absolut perfect timing since I am running on my last few drops at the moment and the bottle will probably be empty within a few days.
“It” by Alexa Chung
Instagram, Facebook, blogs, … this book has been everywhere these past few weeks and I want to know what the hype is all about. Plus, it would look perfect on our coffee table!
Miu Miu or Saint Laurent credit card holder
Last year for Christmas my parents surprised me with a stunning Miu Miu wallet, which I absolutely adore! I still get happy every time I pull it out of my purse. But for going out I’d rather not carry around my entire big wallet, so I’d love the Miu Miu credit card holder in the same look or the amazing Saint Laurent card holder with zip, which might even be more practical.
What’s on your wishlist this year? Do you find it harder to put together wishlists as you get older? Or are there still plenty of things on your list? I’d love to know – simply leave a comment below.
