Well, hello there, beautiful!!

EN: You know what we’ve often wondered? Why are cool, healthy lunches in Vienna such a scarce commodity? In Australia and L.A. you don’t know which stylish Health Café to try first because there are too many options. In Vienna, however, there is Superfood Deli, Ivy’s Pho House with our beloved soups and low-carb Nem Cuõn and not much else… At least until now that is! When we had a meeting in the 1st district last week, we stumbled upon Salad Jungle by accident. Well, hello there, beautiful!! If we didn’t know any better, this place could also be somewhere in Bondi Beach or West Hollywood. Palm trees, delicate pink on the walls, fresh salads and fair prices. Exactly what Vienna was missing!
The jungle has opened its doors for almost a month now and the salads – all vegan, as far as we could tell – are prepared fresh daily and are only available while they last. You pay 6.80€ for the bowl and can fill it yourself with whatever salads you like best. Alternatively there is a menu option for 8.80€ including a soup. Coffee to-go is also a given (they have a pretty fancy coffee machine), as are a few bar stools by the windows and 2 outdoor seats in the sun to enjoy lunch away from your desk. You will definitely find us there whenever we are in the area and we are secretly hoping that the Salad Bowls will soon be available by delivery option, so that we can order them straight to our desks aswell!

Alles Liebe,
Vicky + Kathi
