With only a few days left in 2013 we’re looking back on an amazing year, but are also excited to see what 2014 has in store for us. While we celebrated NYE together last year, this year we’ll actually be on separate continents. None-the-less we’re already set on what to wear and have picked out our outfits with the help of each other. The NYE looks of the past few years were usually super last-minute decisions, but this year we are well prepared and ready to kiss 2013 good-bye. And since we already know what we’ll be wearing, we wanted to share our choices with you. For both of our outfits we were looking to combine two of our favorite things: comfort + glamour! NYE celebrations usually involve lots of eating, dancing, hugging, … so we wanted something we would feel comfortable in all night, while still having that elegant touch.
When we’re talking NYE, you can never go wrong with sequins! Which is exactly why Kathi went for a sparkly sequin skirt. To mix it up a bit, she paired it with a cozy sweater, which will also be great for stepping outside to watch the fireworks. Add a fancy necklace, some classy heels and your favorite bag and you’re ready to celebrate!

While Vicky is usually the first to wear sequins, she decided on something a little different this year: a jumpsuit in midnight blue. Paired with a bit of lace and gorgeous statement earrings the look is totally appropriate for ringing in the new year. Of course a touch of gold has never hurt anyone, so this is where the clutch comes in.

Leider weiß ich nocht gar nicht, was ich anziehen möchte und werde.Aber chic müsste es doch schon sein. Ich mag es nämlich mich gerne etwas chicer als sonst zu kleiden, was mein Freund leider nie tut, für solche Anlässe, deswegen fühle ich mich dann in der Runde schnell overdressed. Am liebsten würde ich so Vicky für Sylvester kleiden wollen, aber ich denke, ich werde es so wie Kathi machen, dann bin ich nämlich sicher, dass ich chic gekleidet bin, aber auch nicht zu chic. Ich hatte an ein Pailettenkleid in Rosa gedacht, aber da müsste vielleicht noch ein Pulli dazu, sonst fühle ich mich zu nackig und zu doll chic. Man was für Probleme :) Ich zwei schaut super aus! Wünsche euch noch schöne Restfeiertage und einen guten Rutsch!
