In diesem Sinne: Cheers!
Vicky’s Look: Possee Seidenbluse, Closed Pedal Pusher Jeans, ZARA Flats, Hallhuber Ohrringe + Chanel Tasche
Kathi’s Look: ZARA Jeans, Bluse & Gürteltasche, Steve Madden Sock-Boots, ANNA I.J. Schmuck
EN: We spend a lot of time in hotels. Often, however, not “on holiday” but for work-related trips. That means: Every free minute is spent in the room to chase after our emails. When we are on the road privately, we try to do the exact opposite: little time “online” and as much time as possible to take full advantage of the hotel life. This includes a visit or two to the gym, relaxing in the wellness area (if the hotel has one), enjoying the breakfast buffet to the fullest and of course, the obligatory pre- or after-dinner drinks at the hotel bar – no matter whether you are on a ski holiday (hello Irish Coffee), tropical honeymoon (Mojitos, please!) or a city trip.
Even though it is still cold outside, the style for a visit at the hotel bar can often be a little different than throughout the rest of the day. You don’t have to be wrapped up as warm as when skiing or sightseeing and you can take the nice slides for spring out for a spin without freezing your feet. Since we spent a whole day at Park Hyatt last week for a shooting, we have the Editor’s Pick to match last week’s Bubbly Friday, right from the hotel bar for you today. In that sense: cheers!
Our take on hotel bar dress code: We find blouses with that certain something especially suitable for drinks in the hotel bar. Whether it’s a silk blouse in an oversized look or a longer blouse, which can be worn as a dress on the beach, or – as Kathi styled it – combined with a casual belt bag and heels for pre-dinner drinks. Also, while we are still spending most of the day in thick winter boots, you can take full advantage of the warmth of the hotel in terms of the anticipation of spring. Vicky combines a mint-colored silk blouse and slides (way too cold to wear outside right now) with a gray pair of high-waisted jeans – a nice change to the classic denim blue, especially for the evening!
