With Christmas just around the corner (only two weeks to go, yay!) we’re preparing lot’s of gift guides to inspire you guys – but of course we also have some wishes of our own! And even though we both are on the same page pretty much all of the time, we’re still two different people, so we decided to give you a peek of what we both wish for Christmas this year. I have a big trip coming up in February that I’m already more than excited about (you’ll find out more soon), so some of my Christmas wish are travel-related and have a bit of a summery feeling to it – just in case you wondered why I want a bikini in winter.
P.S.: Vicky’s wishlist is coming up later this week, so stay tuned for some of her cravings!
I used to always be that person to blame others for not reading “real” books but tablets. However, when I started to think of how many books I’d have to bring with me on a three week holiday, I started to rethink my opinion – with the Kindle, I’d only have to carry the little tablet plus a super stylish Marc Jacobs cover that I already purchased in the hopes of getting the Kindle for Christmas. Also, I’m kind of a late night reading in bed person, so my boyfriend will thank me for the “paperwhite” function of the Kindle, which makes reading without any additional light possible.
Essie Glitter Polish “Set in Stones”
Over the last year, I’ve collected so many Essie polishes that I’ve lost count already, but what’s really missing is a glittery top coat – and this one is pretty perfect in my books – very glamorous and festive as well!
White Ruffle Bikini
Nothing says “vacation” like tan skin and a white bikini. Ok, I’ll have to work on the “tan” part, but the ruffled bikini would be such a nice start to my holidays! At the moment I love everything with ruffles, they just look so cute and are also very flattering for women with a smaller chest!
Marc Jacobs iPhone cover
I’m really scared that the same thing will happen with the iPhone cover as with the Kindle – and that is that I’m going to buy a cover for a gadget I don’t even own yet. I still have the iPhone 4 and want to wait with a new cover until I have the newer version, but one thing’s for sure – this case is going to happen! I saw a similar one on Aimee of Song of Style once and am obsessed with a silver or gold cover ever since.
Tiffany Stud Earrings
I hardly ever wear big statement earrings and most of the times stick to my pearl earrings that my boyfriend gave to me for my graduation. The Tiffany studs have been on my wishlist for years now, they’d be such a great addition to my stud collection, and I think if they are not beneath the christmas tree this year, I’ll just get them for myself!
Jeffrey Campbell Loafers
Those loafers are what I call a perfect pair of shoes – glamorous but comfortable, eye-catching but with muted colors so they fit with every style! I saw them on Tuula Vintage’s Instagram almost a year ago and fell in love instantly, but never came across to buying them. But who know’s, maybe I’ll get to unwrap them this Christmas?
I’m that kind of girl that always walks around with earphones plugged in as soon as I leave the house. I just need music around me 24/7 and simply don’t understand how people don’t get bored without music when they go by public transport. These headphones would be the perfect fashionable companion for me, especially on that long-haul flight!
Additionally to the list above, I’m also wishing for lots of practical stuff for the apartment since I’ve only moved in a year ago, like for example a tea pot like this one – I always drink my tea out of a water jug, so that’s not really what I call “well equipped”. But a little birdy whispered that I might get to unwrap a pretty tea pot soon, so let’s wait and see! What are your wishes this Christmas? Tell me in the comment section below, I’d love to hear all about it!
