We’re really big fans of all kinds of jeans – skinny, bootcut, straight or boyfriend – they’re all so versatile and can be dressed up as well as dressed down very easily. The classical „boyfriend jeans“ has become one of the pieces that we go back to on a regular basis, they’re just so comfy, casual and stylish; but let us tell you that it’s possible to glam up your boyfriend jeans in a heartbeat by combining the right accessories to it! To show us how it’s done, we’ve asked Dani (remember the last post with her, where she showed us how to style a festival outfit!?) to pull off two different looks with one pair of jeans and she didn’t fail to provide us with some stunning combinations!
We want to start off by showing you the casual look. To keep it simple and cool but girly at the same time, Dani decided to wear her hair in a high bun and combined glittery sandals to a band shirt and a silver bag. By combining feminine (girly hair and shoes) and masculine (boyfriend jeans, band shirt) elements in one look, you can create everyday outfits that are simple but real show-stoppers at the same time. For example, this also works for band shirts and statement necklaces or chiffon dresses paired with a leather jacket.
If your pair of jeans are too long, if you don’t like the cut or if you just want to put an extra twist to your outfit, roll your jeans up a few inches, like Dani did with hers. And of course, you can never go wrong with a little armparty, mixed of several bracelets of different colors and a big watch.
Do you guys love the casual look as much as we do? Well, simply click on the products below to get the look. And if you style a similar outfit, inspired by ours, use the hashtag #stealherlook on Instagram to show us! We can’t wait to see your casual boyfriend jeans styles!
Now, to wear the exact same pair of jeans to date night with the boyfriend or a dinner with the family, there is a simple rule when it comes to boyfriend jeans: add a blazer, a blouse (ideally of satin or chiffon) and heels and you’re ready to go! This mix of glamour and casual chic will wow whoever you’ll spend the night with. If you feel uncomfortable to wear heels on your date, just put on some cute ballerinas (we’d stay away from loafers this time), they’re just as good. To make the whole look a bit more feminine, wear your hair in loose waves or curls.
We simply love both of the looks! If you love them too, just click on the images below to get the look yourself! And don’t forget to use the hashtag #stealherlook to show us your styles, inspired by Dani’s looks!
