We’ve gotten quite a few comments & emails, saying that you’d love to see a recipe that didn’t involve alcohol. As you can see, your wish is our command and we’ve done the research to present you an amazing mocktail that is just as flavorful as our other recipes, minus the alcohol of course. We wanted something appropriate for the season involving some citrus and herbs, so when we stumbled upon the “Fresco” a while back, we knew we had hit jackpot. We adapted the recipe a bit to make it our own, but are pretty smitten with the outcome. To turn this mocktail into a cocktail simply add about 2cl of vodka to the mix.
What you’ll need:
– ice cubes (plenty)
– 50ml pear nectar (juice will do)
– 50ml tonic water
– 20ml fresh grapefruit juice
– 10ml fresh lime juice
– sugar to taste
– 2-3 fresh thyme sprigs
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all of the ingredients, except for the tonic (bubbles don’t do to well in shakers) and save some of the thyme for garnish. Shake well and pour into a sugar rimmed glass, then top with a splash of tonic water. Garnish with 1-2 sprigs of fresh thyme & enjoy!
If you try our recipes, we’d love to see how they turned out on Instagram. Simply use the hashtags #lovedailydose and #bubblyfriday to see your pictures featured on The Daily Dose! And if you have a recipe you think deserves to appear on the next Bubbly Fridays like Sarah’s recipe, send us a message HERE.
