Pink Birthday Bubbles

Today is a very special Bubbly Friday here at The Daily Dose, as our very own Kathi celebrates her 25th birthday! Of course we had to come up with a special little something to toast to the occasion. At a recent gathering with friends we had drinks, that were made with vodka and pink rosé lemonade – needless to say we LOVED them! So, for this week’s bubbles we’ve created our own version of the spiked lemonade by adding a sour twist with some lime and red currant. Paired with decadent chocolate cake this is absolute birthday perfection!

What you’ll need:
– 2cl vodka of your choice
– 1/2 small bottle of Fentiman’s “Rosé Lemonade”
– 1 lime, sliced
– red currant
– ice cubes

Slice the lime and wash the red currant, then prepare your glasses (we think white wine glasses work best for this drink) by adding a slice of lime and a twig of red currant to each rim. Drop a few ice cubes, a bit of currant and squeeze a slice of lime into each glass. Fill with vodka and lemonade – and celebrate!!
