We sure love our Bubbly Fridays and in this heat wave, we need something to cool us down a little! Even though we’re fans of all things fruity and creamy, we leave the Piña Coladas behind at a certain temperature and go for something less sweet, bubblier and more refreshing. Pomegranate is a fruit that works for every season (we also love it in fall!), and combined with some rosemary, icecubes and champagne it makes for the perfect cocktail ingredient on hot summer nights. Just add some raspberries as garnish and you’re ready to cool down.
What you’ll need:
Prepare the icecubes and cut the pomegranate in half. Spoon the pomegranate pits out carfully, but make sure to wear an apron or something else that’ll protect your clothes – pomegranate stains are really hard to remove. Stick 2-3 raspberries onto a rosemary branch for garnish and blend everything after your taste. If you like it a bit sweeter, just add some honey, elderflower syrup or classic sugar syrup.
